Throughout their engagement with TPC, all students are required to:

Treat every individual with impartiality and respect, avoiding conduct that may cause offense, embarrassment, or threat to others.
Refrain from engaging in harassment, victimization, discrimination, or disruptive behavior towards others.
Demonstrate respect towards others and their belongings.
Acknowledge and value diverse opinions and backgrounds.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures outlined by the staff.
Fulfill payment obligations for training within agreed-upon timeframes, where applicable.

Report any identified safety risks promptly.
Avoid bringing items that may compromise personal or others' safety into training premises.
Inform TPC of any changes in personal or contact details.
Provide TPC with timely and accurate information as required.
Approach studies with personal dedication and integrity.
Notify TPC at least 12 hours in advance if unable to attend a training session for any reason.

Complete all assessment tasks, learning activities, and assignments honestly, without plagiarism or copyright infringement.
Submit all assessment tasks, assignments, and work evidence with a duly completed and signed cover sheet.
Maintain regular communication with trainers and assessors.
Adequately prepare for all assessment tasks, visits, and training sessions.
Notify TPC of any difficulties that may impact their participation in a program.

Students thrive in their learning environment when they are in good health, feel secure, and experience happiness. Consequently, the responsibility for student welfare lies with all TPC staff, as we firmly believe that learning is intricately linked with well-being.

TPC is dedicated to nurturing the individual growth of every learner, enabling them to realize their full potential. Recognizing that students may encounter challenges related to studies, work, or social aspects, we emphasize the importance of a holistic approach to student well-being for overall success.

Our Trainers and Assessors are available to provide support, offering a confidential space to address any concerns. While they may not be certified counselors, they have received training and possess current information about relevant referral support services in the local Melbourne area. They should be your initial point of contact when seeking assistance.

Attendance and Homework Expectations

Regular attendance at on-campus training sessions is mandatory as per the scheduled class timetable.

Class schedules can be obtained from the College during your induction, and Student Services Officers will reach out to you to confirm your specific class schedule. If you have any inquiries, feel free to contact them directly for assistance.

Additionally, there is an expectation that you fulfill a designated amount of homework each week to successfully complete the necessary learning and assessment tasks. Your trainer will offer guidance on the nature of these assignments and the expected time commitment for work outside of class, as outlined in the Course Outline.

ENGAGEMENT WITH INDUSTRY-

In fostering connections with industry, TPC is strategically positioned to stay abreast of industry associations and seamlessly integrate their standards into the assessment procedures.

Collaborating with enterprises and the business community will yield insights into assessments directly applicable to real workplace scenarios.

Regulatory mandates pertinent to specific competence units will be integrated to ensure our students are thoroughly equipped for their workplace responsibilities.
